So the Money Cup was this weekend, and was anyone surprised at who the major players were? I know plenty of people are pissed of Cole won again, but seriously, hes for real. "Blahblahblah everyone else was doing equally sick tricks and shit...", yeah everyone threw down but Cole was fucking murdering. He slayed the whole course and its pretty fucking amazing when most of your shit is stomped first, second, or third try. Im also pumped to see Pudwill make the top three, as i though he got robbed last year(how can you get a prize for ripping the whole course the hardest and not place?). Just like last year, there were plenty of dudes just skating around not trying to go balls out but just enjoying the course. I cant say i liked the NYC layout. It was cool and everything but two parts were just mirror images and dudes couldnt even hit half the shit because of the crowd and film/photo people posting up on the spots. I also enjoyed seeing the judges use ipads to calculate scores and watch them break due to the heat. Im pretty confident the next Maloof Cup in CA will be more exciting to watch

Blazed and Confused Tour @ Talent Skatepark

The Ipath team recently cruised through Burlington for a demo at the newly redesigned Talent Skatepark. As the video shows, these guys rip pretty fucking hard. Ryan Reyes was killing it all day. Jaws and Ben Raybourn were going back and forth throwing absurd tricks on the vert wall. Everyone was slaying besides Bob and Fred Gall, but really, I dont think Bob knows what to do in a normal skatepark, maybe if you added like 10 feet to each ramp hed kill it. Gall pretty much chilled the whole time but i wouldnt be too motivated to skate if all of the young whippersnappers were throwing fucking mctwists and shit. If i came away with one thing from the demo though, it would be that these guys get paid to skate for a reason. For all those interested in "making it", unless you show up to skate and your warm up tricks are on a fucking vert wall and are fucking hard(reyes first few tricks included a back disaster and both crails on the vert wall and new tranny bank thing), then you should probably keep your day job. On another note, the new talent is pretty burly and theres not too much to dick around on.

I just recently made the move up to burlington, vt, and we dont have internet. The best i can do is mooch off our neighbors. so until we get internet, there probably wont be much on here. Im pretty pissed, ive had to resort to watching the same videos over and over again, and even more so that the maloof cup starts tommorow.

Seriously though, "hey chase how about you make another best selling tee shirt" WTF. I bet the majority of tees from the berrics are sold through the berrics, zumiez and other faggy mall shops. fuck these shoes, going by how they looked after a few skate sessions i figured theyd hold up pretty well. As it turns out, they lasted about 2 weeks and are now pretty much completely ruined. Readers, this shoe lasts no longer than your average pair of vans, so unless your a rich asshole, dont buy them.

SHAPE DEUCE: SERGE MURPHY TEASER

The Shape crew hails from my homeland of Massachusetts and they rip pretty hard, as you can see from the video. Their latest project, Shape Deuce, looks to be fucking sick. This teaser has some legit hammers and its only throwaway (the guard rail gap at 1:02-fucking raw), so im definitely looking forward to seeing what these dudes can do. Somebody really needs to start giving these guys some more coverage, theyre on the rise definitely.

Shaun White Skateboarding Trailer

Well this is pretty lame. Shaun White now has two extreme video games fueling little fuckers to go buy his target clothes and skateboard accessories from zumiez. Has Shaun White ever skated anything other than a vert ramp? I really wish there werent too many actual skaters that signed on for the video game too (im assuming the people in the trailer are, WTF Johnny Layton?). Shaun White, FUCK YOU, until you double cork a skateboard, then ill still say fuck you but you will have done a fucking double cork, and that will be extreme.

GSB Shoe Review

Now i dont know how anyone else feels about Habitat entering the shoe game, but i picked up a pair of larks and i have to say Burton definitely made the right choice in letting them branch out into the footwear world. These shoes definitely get the job done. Its pretty clear that they went for the low key vulc shoe that everyone wants nowadays and yeah...i like that. As far as skating goes, i couldnt be happier with the shoe. They feel a lot like adidas campus vulcs , another shoe im a big fan of, but took less time to break in. I would say to any of you widefooters though, this shoe probably isnt for you. I like the shoe mainly because its quite narrow and fits my equally narrow foot as well, so you might find theyll pack out pretty easy. As for wear and tear, there decent. The first time i skated them there was little wear on the sole and a small rip near the top end of the laces. Overall id say give them a try, there definitely worth the average skate shoe price.

Zered Bassett State of Mind

Zered seriously murders shit. Hes up for TWS video part of the year. Hes also from Cape Cod, which is pretty cool considering the Cape could be one of the worst places to skate, unless you can make it to Marthas Vineyard. Anyways, his absurd switch skating, ability to muscle through any ledge, and creative lines all add up to make him fucking sick. Also, Dio is fucking sick, RIP

ZOMG first post

Alright so other than skate and menial labor i dont have shit to do this summer, so this is pretty much a time waster where i can post some skate vids and nerd out on everything that is skateboarding. If youre not into the whole opinion thing and youd rather just watch some videos (probably most of you), then i suggest you make your way over to the good old catfish , but trust me, this blogs gonna be the tits.
