fuck these shoes, going by how they looked after a few skate sessions i figured theyd hold up pretty well. As it turns out, they lasted about 2 weeks and are now pretty much completely ruined. Readers, this shoe lasts no longer than your average pair of vans, so unless your a rich asshole, dont buy them.

SHAPE DEUCE: SERGE MURPHY TEASER
The Shape crew hails from my homeland of Massachusetts and they rip pretty hard, as you can see from the video. Their latest project, Shape Deuce, looks to be fucking sick. This teaser has some legit hammers and its only throwaway (the guard rail gap at 1:02-fucking raw), so im definitely looking forward to seeing what these dudes can do. Somebody really needs to start giving these guys some more coverage, theyre on the rise definitely.

Shaun White Skateboarding Trailer
Well this is pretty lame. Shaun White now has two extreme video games fueling little fuckers to go buy his target clothes and skateboard accessories from zumiez. Has Shaun White ever skated anything other than a vert ramp? I really wish there werent too many actual skaters that signed on for the video game too (im assuming the people in the trailer are, WTF Johnny Layton?). Shaun White, FUCK YOU, until you double cork a skateboard, then ill still say fuck you but you will have done a fucking double cork, and that will be extreme.

GSB Shoe Review
Now i dont know how anyone else feels about Habitat entering the shoe game, but i picked up a pair of larks and i have to say Burton definitely made the right choice in letting them branch out into the footwear world. These shoes definitely get the job done. Its pretty clear that they went for the low key vulc shoe that everyone wants nowadays and yeah...i like that. As far as skating goes, i couldnt be happier with the shoe. They feel a lot like adidas campus vulcs , another shoe im a big fan of, but took less time to break in. I would say to any of you widefooters though, this shoe probably isnt for you. I like the shoe mainly because its quite narrow and fits my equally narrow foot as well, so you might find theyll pack out pretty easy. As for wear and tear, there decent. The first time i skated them there was little wear on the sole and a small rip near the top end of the laces. Overall id say give them a try, there definitely worth the average skate shoe price.

Zered Bassett State of Mind
Zered seriously murders shit. Hes up for TWS video part of the year. Hes also from Cape Cod, which is pretty cool considering the Cape could be one of the worst places to skate, unless you can make it to Marthas Vineyard. Anyways, his absurd switch skating, ability to muscle through any ledge, and creative lines all add up to make him fucking sick. Also, Dio is fucking sick, RIP
